Took my wife and 2 children for dinner. Great tasting food and the service was great. Nice relaxing place to dine as a family for a good price.

love the hospitality of their server, the place is quite nice and the food is also nice. i ordered the hamburger, for me the meat was too dry but i love the bun because its not greasy at all so i love it, for the sides they gave me salad and french fries, i love their dressing!! but i didnt like the french fries tho its not crispy at all. my aunty ordered carbonara fettucini, she said that the portion was to big for her so i think thats a good thing right? having a big portion for yourself hahahaha, and for the pasta you'll get free garlic bread! my sister ordered an australian beef burger, she said that the burger was delicious but i didnt try it tho. my mom ordered a fish soup but i forgot the name hehe, it's soooo delicious the portion was biiiig i love it pokoknya karena seger banget dan gurih. the price is reasonable so yeayness for murni's. so overall i love it and will come back for sure

Great place with great food!Murni is not a new comer in Ubud, it has run more than 40 years.Tried the dessert are so authentic that really damn good and the cakes were a different cake from other cake shop i ever tasted before.The place is also so natural that comes beside little forest and river.Definitely worth to visit when u go to Ubud.

A beautiful yet humble food establishment just a stone's thrown away from Antonio Blanco Museum. I had my lunch at the bottom floor, descending 3 stories from the reception. You can easily gaze over the stream and cliff bordering the restaurant.Murni's Tutu Ayam: a slow food I like most. The meat was tender and flavorful. The sauce and sambal just made things perfect! The portion served was sufficient to fulfill a starving stomach up.

It is an absolute pleasure to write a review for this enchanted restaurant. The staff were so welcoming of myself and my husband and were quick to bring us drinks (we had walked a distance to find it). They were attentive, kind and always smiling. It made us feel like we were at home. The establishment itself is beautiful, with numerous levels to choose to dine in (there's a lounge, a courtyard/garden just to name a couple) and each level has beautiful ornaments and detailing, all overlooking nature (river and large trees and greenery). When it came to the meals, we started with the chicken spring rolls and onion rings. I absolutely recommend the spring rolls and it's peanut dipping sauce (the best I've ever had). Our mains were the Balinese duck and the saucy Balinese chicken. I enjoyed my meal and was very full before I could finish it! As for my husband, he believes the duck dish was up there with the best he's had both in Bali and in Australia. In fact he ordered a second serving of the duck to the waitresses amusement!!!!! I almost forgot to say that on top everything, the waitress offered us a free taxi service back to our hotel. What more could you possibly ask for?! I highly recommend paying Murni's a visit. The atmosphere is so calming and the food and experience is really lovely.

I visited Muni's with 2 friends last week for cake and coffee. I've visited here several times; usually taking friends to introduce them to this lovely venue in Ubud.Murni's is cleverly built over several levels on a steep river bank. It's a treat to sit on the terrace and gaze out on the lush greenery on the river banks, relaxing with over lunch or a spot of afternoon tea. It was raining the day we went, which made our visit even lovelier, with the sound and sight of the rain from our dry spot on the lower terrace.Rather than just sitting on the entry level, try going down a few floors and enjoying the view from there. I love sitting on the lower floors where it's usually quieter and less crowded. We tried banana and cassava fritters which were lovely and crisp, and a slice of banana cake. The quality of the coffee isn't barista standard, but there are many coffee shops in Ubud that produce quality lattes if that's what you hanker for. Don't go to Murni's expecting the same standard of coffee. Go to enjoy the venue, and have a wander around the charming little shop while you're there. Murni's is all about location, and sometimes that's enough. Their traditional Indonesian meals are excellent, so you could go for an early dinner to enjoy the view before the sun sets.

Murni's has a fantastic view of the jungle and feels like an old school club house. The food was ok and on par with most of ubud. The ginger sauce (recommended in the menu with some of the desserts) was amazing.

Just revisited Murni's and still amazed by the view and its ambience.Today, we ordered iced cappucino with young coconut. The coconut was so big and very fresh. For the coffee, it was ok and had strong enough flavor.The service was a little bit slow, but they were very friendly and helpful. We thought it's because their restaurant has 4-storey building. It was fine though, because it makes us enjoy the view.The restaurant also has very good hygiene.For the price we paid, we thought we will surely come back. Not just for the yummy foods and drinks, but also the magnificent ambience.

Overpriced and nothing special at Murni's, I honestly think that you find the better food from the places that cater for locals rather than for tourists.

Service was friendly and prices are reasonable. Had the water spinach, vegetarian Mi Goreng and Nasi Campur all were good. Soup that came with Nasi was a bit bland.
