It's pretty sad when the best dish we had all night was the edamame and even that was just okay. Salad was too salty and sour, and everything was cold, including beef tongue and flaming dragon roll!

Went to akane with Placetogoandeat Ai @Jakartarandomeats and UrsAndNic simply because all of us wants to try their value lunch set. Their lunch set isinya banyak banget pilihannya, kalau ditotal sama minum ada kali 9 item dengan harga only 93k ++ udh dpt 5 makanan 1 pilihan nasi yang macem2, ocha dan dessert. Saya kebetulan lagi mengurangi makan nasi jadi pilih nya california roll, tapi liat porsi nasi dgn jamur yang dipesan sama temen ternyata banyak yaa porsi nasi nya, nggak paham juga kenapa lunch set nya bisa murah begitu. Kita berempat juga pesen assorted yakitori yang isi nya macem2 disajikan dengan 3 sauce yang saucenya juga rasanya enak2. Kalau di lunch set sendiri, pesanan saya, ada california roll, half roasted tuna, beef steak, nanban chicken, chawan musi, di set saya yang paling gak cocok rasanya sih half roasted tuna, agak2 fishy. Yang lainnya sih oke. Untuk update menu set yang lainnya, tunggu review dari teman2 ya. Overall disini enak, untuk lunch karena murah dan kenyang, selain yg rice ada juga set dengan harga sama untuk 1 udon+ 1 donburi. Nice deal, suasanya nya juga japanese ambience banget persis kaya di sumiya dan tamba, yang ternyata 1 group juga.

Resto ini sangat terasa nuansa Jepangnya apalagi dengan pengunjungnya yang juga banyak orang Jepang. Datang dengan teman2 foodies dan kami memesan : Assorted Yakitori dan Paket Eraberu Wazen seharga 93k ++ yang hanya berlaku lunch time 11.30 – 14.30. Paket lunch ini menurut saya adalah paket yang sangat ok untuk resto autentik Jepang dengan standard Hotel seperti ini.Di menu ini kita bisa memilih 5 macam nasi (dengan pilihan white rice, dried bonito rice, Braised Shiitake miso rice , hot spicy dried fish rice dan california roll) dan 3 macam pilihan side dish dari 20 macam side dish yang di tawarkan.Saya memilih california roll dengan side dish : 1. Fresh raw salmon, 2. Grilled mackerel semuanya terasa enak dan fresh, 3. Semi roasted tuna ini fresh juga tapi agak terasa agak hambar, jadi lebih ke healthy menu aja sih.Menu ini disajikan dengan cold potato salad, miso soup, dan chawan mushi... chawan mushi disini enaaak ...saya suka banget. Dessert Coffee Jellynya juga enak.Untuk Assorted Yakitorinya menurut saya enak tapi terlalu terasa dry, jadi untuk saya tidak terasa begitu special.Tempat ini recommended banget untuk pencinta makanan Jepang. Benaran surprise dengan good deal lunch packangenya.

We never thought will find a lot of food tasting in small portion from Japanese Cuisine if it wasn't buffet, and fortunately we were wrong.Let me invite you to know the menu further.They have 5 options for rice preferences, which i choose shitake rice and it was nice.They have quite a lot of main course menu, and we only got a chance to pick 6 of them. From what I've ordered, the star wasBEEF STEAK ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Super tender and Juicy and well seasoned.But since it was only 30gr, I only got 4 slices of them.. love it love it love it!CHICKEN KARAGE ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆The crispiness is ultimate and the flavor also nice. It was not too oily and served big. Awesome!!For Grilled Salmon, I suggest you to enjoy your fish with teriyaki sauce by simply ask them for it. It was kinda blend if you didn't put any additional seasoning.The sauce will deliver more authentic aroma and even better, it was not a thick sauce, so the flavor won't be too dominating.You might as well mix the potato salad with a bit of their teriyaki sauce, or simply the salt and pepper only, if you didn't want to have blend tasting.Rest of the main course menus such as Agedashi Tofu, and the bento sides such as Cawanmushi, California Roll and Miso Soup were also delicious but not that special in terms of flavor. Pickle doesn't really impressed me and my mate however.We were also order another Lunch Special Menu, which is Beef Hamburg and it was huge! Meat quality and sauce is okay for 3.5 / 5. It cost us 98k for this hamburg package with rice and soup, and we were already so full by half portion.Price was definetly the main star and I will gladly having another Japanese lunch here. Because we are really full and quite happy for their overall performances.Have a delightful Bento mina-san ^-^

Restoran jepang yang bener2 murah banget lunch set nya harganya ga masuk akal banget murah dan isinya super banyak enak2 lagi. Pasti bakal balik lagi deh ga rugi pokoknya kalo pesen lunch set disini

One of my friends once mentioned about Akane as one of the good Japanese restaurants. When I saw the good rating, I decided to visit Akane one day. I was a little bit disappointed because it is not as good as what I'm imagining. In my opinion, Sushi Tei is even better. Then I read some of the reviews, the ones that I read is about lunch special not for dinner. And dinner is not inexpensive as what people claim for lunch special. My biggest complaint is the Wasabi, it is very mild to the point I hardly can taste the wasabi taste. Since the soy sauce is too salty, when you dip into it, I only taste saltiness not the wasabi.Sushi - California Rolls (48K) & Negitoro Maki (53K): Both sushis are so so, when they rolled it, they do not put enough pressure so they are broken when you dip it to the wasabi sauce. It's a boring sushis.Salmon sashimi (73K): It's good & fresh but since the wasabi sauce is horrible, it ruins the enjoyment of eating sashimi.Okonomiyaki (68K): This dish like an omelette (Japanese style). It is good. I like this egg dish.Takoyaki Fu Potato (48K): This is similar to Indonesian perkedel hehehe. It is a mash potato, they make it like a ping pong ball, then deep fried it and add sauces. I also like this dish, the outer side is crispy but they deep fried it too long so it is tough & hard for you to bite it.Yakitori: Negima (chicken - 29K) & Gyu Bara (beef short ribs - 78K). It is Japanase sate (kabob), 2 pieces for each order. The chicken one is so so but the beef one is good & tasty (for 78K, it's better good, isn't it? Hehehe). Well, since we are Indonesian, for me, Indonesian sate is much much better in term of taste & flavors. Unfortunately, Indonesian sate usually only use standard meat, not a premium meat like short ribs.At the end, they give you free soft pudding and it is very good.

akane ini lokasinya di hotel crown plaza, di lobbynya, tempatnya ga terlau besar, waktu gw kesni pas lunch rame bgt, tapi untung kita sudah reserve jadi ga waiting list. gw datang dengan Tissa Kemala UrsAndNic Ai @Jakartarandomeats dan kita pesen : - assorted Yakitori, yakitorinya ada 6 pcs, agak keras dan rasanya biasa aja. - menu set lunch Eraberu Wazen (93k ++) hanya ada pas lunch time 11.30 – 14.30. paket ini lumayan bervariasi isinya, jadi kita bisa pilih salah satu dari 5 macam nasi (white rice, dried bonito rice, Braised shitake, miso rice , hot spicy dried fish rice dan california roll) dan pilih 3 macam side dish dari 20 macam, untuk compliment ada miso soup, cawan mushi dan mashed potato. kebetulan gw ga pesan menu ini jadi hanya coba punya teman2, diataranya gw coba roasted eggplant biasa aja, chicken with tartar sauce ini enak, beef steak enak, grilled mackarel enak, semi roasted tuna agak amis dan biasa aja rasanya, miso soup biasa aja, cawan musi enak banget, dan mashed potato jg biasa aja. - untuk set menu yg eraberu dapet free dessert coffee jelly, enak jg coffee jellynya. overall untuk set menu lunchnya ok jg nih harganya pas untuk pilihan lauk yg sangat bervariasi, tempatnya sih biasa aja karena kecil dan rame jadi kesannya sempit tapi bersih dan pelayanannya jg bagus

Niat lunch disini karena ada paket lunchnya yg murah. Dengan 98k++ kita bisa pilih jenis nasinya, dengan 3 jenis menu yg ada di gambar, dan bakal ada tambahan potato salad, acar, miso soup, dan chawan mushi pula. Akhirnya gw pilih nasi shitake, dengan 3 pilihan salmon sashimi, minchi katsu, dan lightly roasted eggplant. Total ada sekitar 9 jenis makanan. Ditambah free flow ocha & dessert coffee jelly pudding itu jadinya super worthed! Sashiminya enak, terutama gw suka minchi salad & chawan mushinya! Pun yang lain enak, hitungannya murah banget kita dapet banyak makanan seharga 98k dengan kualitas sekelas Akane. Kita juga pesen yakitori omakase mori yg terdiri dari 6 jenis yakitori, ada yg kulit, dada ayam, hati, dll. Yakitorinya sih enak, walau bumbunya kurang terasa. Tempatnya rame banget pas jam akan siang, saran gw reserve dulu sebelum datang. But overall one & worth banget lunch set di Akane!

Everything is perfect! Love the food, the ambience and the service. Definitely will come back for sure!!P.S: their lunch set menu is really worth to try!
