After reading some of reviews, I decided to go to Ayam Baraya for lunch. The restaurant is located just next to Mie Singapur or 2 stores from the old Saung Greenville restaurant (the map in website referring to the opposite side of the restaurant). It's a stardard size of ruko.Once you enter the restaurant, first impression is similar like Little Ubud where they have approximately 15 different that you can choose from and then they will give you a price tags. You can also order ala carte where the price is depend on the dishes that you pick. You can also order foods from menu.From the dishes that are ready, I picked 4 items (45K):Redang Jengkol: It's pretty good, the taste is exactly like eating beef rending but this one is Jengkol. For me, the jengkol is too soft (my guess is, they use pressure cooker to cook the jengkol). Personally, I prefer sticky/slightly chewy (legit) texture instead of soft. It's like an overcooked dish.Cowpeas (Kecipir): I don't even know this veggie. The waiter gave me one piece to try. It has a light bitter taste and I do like it. It's difficult to explain how it tastes like. The waiter explained to me that the veggie look like oyong (a small squash) veggie.Shrimp & Pate: The taste is good but again the shrimp is overcooked and too soft. The pete is good because it still has a crunchy texture.Sayur Acar: This is so so. Not good but also not bad. I don't like the fact that they use baby corn and cabbage. For whatever reasons, in my opinion,  those two ingredients do not fit with acar spices since those veggie do not have some type of crunchy texture.Sambal (hot sauce): There 2 hot sauces, sambal terasi (hot sauce with shrimp paste) and sambal bawang (union hot sauce). Personally, I like sambal terasi because it's tastier and spicier compare to union hot sauce.Kremes Chicken Package (30K): Of course I have to try its signature dish which is Ayam Kremes. The package comes with rice, chicken, tofu, tempe, and sayur asam. The kremes chicken is good, the outer side is crunchy and the inner side is tender. tempe is so so, tofu is pretty good, they use soft tofu. Sayur asem (Sour soup) is okay, the good thing is it's not too sweet.With a reasonable price or may be considered as inexpensive, no wonder this restaurant get a pretty high rating. Actually I want to give 3.5 stars based on its taste but when I consider taste and price tag, I can give a 4 stars, given the fact that it is so hard or may be impossible to have a 35K meal package (plus ice tea) in a mall.Twitter: @andrian1703

i've been here for more than 3 timesalways ordered same menu, paket ayam kremes!super delishhh, nice place, reasonable price, definitely will come back again! maybe for try the others menu 😊

Satu kata buat ayam goreng Baraya " ENAK.... " Dari ayam goreng , sambalnya sampai sayur asem nya rasanya juara . Ayam goreng dengan dagingnya yg empuk dan bumbunya yg meresap sampai kedagingnya ditambah dengan keremesnya yg gurih , sambalnya yang menjadi pelengkap buat ayam gorengnya yg pedasnya nampol dan sayur asemnya yg rasanya juga tepat menambah selera makan. Recomended buat ayam goreng ini ditambah pelayanannya yg cukup ramah

dating k restaurant ini krn dket sm rmh. untuk mknannya ok kok, paketnya jg ok, worth it. cm kyknya lbh k masalah tempat, awal dtg ksni msh bersih tertata bgt, lama2 jd agak kumuh menurut saya, maksudnya kyk krg bersih dan panas, mungkin krn efek byk org kali ya. untuk mknan prasmanan yg pilih2 kyk warteg jg lumayan tuh, cm kyknya musti d tambah jg fariasinya supaya lbh byk lg HEHE aplg jamur crispynya tlg bgt sering ada, itu favorite bgt!!overall: taste: 7/10 place: 7/10atmosphere: 6/10service: 7/10

Sebenernya suka banget sama makanannya, trutama ayam gorengnya, entah mau dikremesin atau kriboin smua suka. Uda beberapa kali order via ojol dan rasa ga pernah kecewa. Akhirnya nyobain makan lgsg di tempat krna kebetulan laper dan lagi di luar rumah. 1 kata, service was sooooooo lameeeee 😕😕 gimana bisa dateng barengan tamu lain tapi dia cuma nunggu ga sampe 10 menit, sdgkn pesanan saya sampai 30 menit lebih? Kondisi resto lg ga rame loh, cuma saya dan 1 tamu itu. Ya mungkin lg ada 3 orderan ojol, tp para ojol itu jg ga nyampe 30 menit kok. Lalu dateng tamu lain, dimana mereka ga sampe 10 menit jg sampai pesanan dateng. Mungkin saya lg ga beruntung, tp yg jelas uda males sih makan di tempat, plus bkin nurunin semangat buat makan ini lagi 😥😥

Belum pernah dateng langsung ke restonya, cuman udah 2 kali order via ojol. Kebetulan pertama kali tau itu karena direkomendasiin sama iklan di ojol. Suka banget sama Ayam Kremes nya, sambel nya pedes dan enak banget. Kemarin order yg ke-2 kali agak kecewa aja, soalnya gak dikasih sambel, padahal saya udah bersedia untuk bayar loh. Saran buat yg mau pesen via ojol, agar di info aja sama bang ojeknya, supaya di ingetin untuk masukkin sambelnya, ya kan masa makan ayam goreng gak pake sambel, apalagi sebenernya sudah termasuk di harga paketnya. Untuk harga ya terjangkau banget sih, saya pesen paket ayam kremes+nasi uduk , ekstra kremes=41.000 , sudah dapet porsi kecil sayur asem nya juga.

Makanan favorit Usep ayam kremes. Pas kebetulan temen Usep nyang dari Bogor dateng ke Jakarta, mau Palentinan sama pacarnya, nginep di ruma Usep. Malam gini perut keroncongan, akhirnya Usep ojol aja nih ayam kremes legendarisnya. Pesen paket aja, murmer. Dapet ayam kremes, tahu tempe, dan semangkuk kecil sayur asem. Rasa ayamnya ngangenin. Suambelnya bener bener geledek. Dijamin ketagihan. Usep paling suka kremesnya ditaburin di nasi uduk hangat ngepul. Top abis gan. Cita rasa kampoeng aseli.
