bams is one of the spanish restaurant in jakarta located at plaza indonesia.. the restaurant is nice but kinda dark, its not too big.. i try the jamon iberico ham, the seafood paella, cold capellini pasta.. the jamon iberico is normal with that price maybe they can have better quality of spanish ham, the seafood paella is splendid, i like the sauce of it and the seafood is also fresh..definitely one of the best paella i tried in indonesia.. the cold capellini is good but the sakura ebi flavor is too strong for me.. overall the food is nice and the price is not expensive because they now have discount for all the food..

First came here don't expect great food, turns out that all of theirs foods are amazing. The plating are quite simple yet so inviting to be eaten, and very tasty that made my taste buds dancing happily. My favorite is the kampong egg, baby sotong and chorizo, the combination is so balance, and the egg itself tastes sweet. I don't know how they cook it but it's very tasty. Will definitely order it again the next time I come here, which going to be very soon. I also like the interior and the ambience, it's not sassy but very classy. The service was very superb, but I was there near closing hour, so I didn't get any complementary for posting and tagging pictures on instagram, should come here again during middays or afternoon.

We ordered:-Black Paella of Squid Ink-Fideua Spanish Noodle, Pork Belly, Shrimpfor 4 people.The waiter will mix the Paella for you. Black Paella used black rice because of the squid ink. Fideua Spanish Noodle tasted like uncooked Spaghetti. It was hard to chew, but maybe this is how Spanish food works (?) Only my boyfriend liked it. The rest of us liked the Black Paella more.We got 3 free dishes: Spanish Pork, Kampong Egg, and Lemon Cakeby repost and regram from Instagram. The requirement was complicated. Please ask the staff to know how to get it free.The Spanish Pork was scrumptious. It was so tender and almost melted in my mouth. The Kampong Egg was really mediocre. Nothing special. It was a half-boiled egg and the waiter will mix it with Baby Sotong. It was bland. We didn't really like the Lemon Cake, too sour.The service was good. The staff were friendly and helpful.The portion was not big. We were not full after we ate 5 dishes and by the time I got home, I was hungry again.

So, I came here about a week ago. I fell in love with the interior as I stepped inside the restaurant. The place was strategic and warm. The service of this restaurant was amusing and delicate. I had a selection of tapas on the picture. The pasta ala plancha was amazing beyond words and the pork cheek was one of the best that i've tasted but I felt that it needed more burn to get the melt-in-your-mouth satisfaction. My favourite was the kampong egg baby sotong. It had a unique taste when combined with the egg, you should try it for yourself and you'll get what i mean. The desserts were great too with a mix of flavours. The lemon cake had a special tanginess which creates a spark in your mouth alongside the lucious meringue top. The banana crumble was sweet yet perfect with the passionfruit and the ice cream which was perfect in my taste buds. Overall, this restaurant has got to be one of my favourites in Jakarta. I am looking forward to coming back again very soon.

Well i guess they did some research. First time i came here everything was so pricey. But they have a range of food and prices this time. i think this would be great for their business because it's hard to find a qualified restaurant like this. With an amazing taste experience you shouldn't missed this one.

Sooooo in love with this sake bar. Pesen sake paradise & honjozo nya tadi. Pelayannya oke banget dan sabar banget jelasin nya. Satisfied with this bar, really.

The spanish tapas is definitely one of, if not the best in Jakarta. I love the squid ink paella, but the other dishes and drinks are delicious too. Definitely recommended and I will be back!

Was excited to find out that this restaurant serves paella- a very popular spanish food. The place was just standard in terms of coziness and the air conditioning was very cold. Be sure to wear something warm. Servers were patient in explaining and friendly too.Ordered paella seafood (4 pax) at a hefty price of 700k (not including tax and service). At first, I was misled by the portion since the pan was super huge. The prawns were very tasty, huge, flavorful and extremely fresh. The clams were on the opposite just ordinary. The paella was impressive in terms of taste.However, the portion was so so so small that I can finish the so called 4 pax by myself without my stomach getting full. Some part of the paella on the sides of the pan were scorched too. The good quality one were in the middle of the pan only. Extremely disappointed and felt so ripped off.

I'm not a big fans of Spanish food.But I've tried a really good spanish food in the city of Barcelona. I feel that this is not quite the original taste. I'd say that this is a fusioned tapas.As recommended by the waiter, I tried the spanish pork, which I think just tasted average.& The paella, which for me is unique, the have the fried prawn head on it, which tasted really good. You can eat the whole (prawn) head.As for the price, it's not as pricey as the restaurant besides it (Senju).When it come for the desserts, BAM have better choices of desserts.

I tried this restaurant because of a friend recomendation. When i entered the restaurant the greetings was fine until it comes to the food and drink. I ordered one of the salad which the server recomended and it was tasteless, also the beer served frozen on top and the worst situation was when i went to the toilet there's a little whole in the glasswall which i can see some dude lean on and try to sneak peeking to the inside of the toilet. I was so shock and immidiately tell the server there but they did nothing untill the guys run out. So i was so disapointed and will never come back
