Well, for the first sight, i never thinkin it was french resto, cause the name not really representate. And it was for the first time, i tried french food. I cant say much, and i cant compare to other french resto. I tried, Escargot, Chicken Ratatouille, and the recommended one (cause the servant said so) Classic, Chicken Butter Rise. For the price, i can say its medium well, the i love the ambience of the place. So homey. And the servant really nice.

it was love at first sight, and taste. when it comes to the food, they really mean it ! i love the staff, all of them. they were very friendly and even always be excited to help my boyfriend arrange the romantic dinner for the two of us on a special occasion. 5 outa 5 !!

Escargotnya enak. Rasanya pas banget. Menurut saya, dari beberapa escargot yg saya coba di jakarta, yang ini paling mirip sama yang aslinya di perancis. Spaghetti spicy tuna aglio olio nya juga enak. Saya memang minta pedas. Mungkin kalo ngga suka pedas agak kepedasan sih. Dapat welcome drink dan complimentary bread.

I came here hungry and I was not dissapointed. They have good quality food and a good selection. Although I only had the lasagna below (75 idr) that single portion was enough to fill me up. If you aren't a heavy eater only get 1 course. I tried bits of my friends chicken ratatouille and chicken breast with onion and ginger, both of which were chock-full of flavor and texture. The lasagna was a bit weird after 3/4ths of a portion. The staff were so nice and welcoming and the outdoor area is the best place to eat in the afternoon. I will come back.

Untung ada yang bayarin, akhirnya ke sini juga. Justru restoran ini yang paling gua inget gambar2 di piringnya. Keren. Jadi pas makanan dateng, steaknya gua kasih temen trus gua memandangi piringnya sambil meneteskan air mata.

Escargotnya enaaakkk... Top di lidah. Kalau salad dan lainnya not really special but ok buat dicoba. Beef Fillet with sauce mushroom lebih enak dibanding yang wine sauce.Ambience tempat makannya enak dan hommy banget, mungkin karena interior dan bangunan aslinya memang untuk rumah tinggal.

Escargot nya enak bgt, saladnya oke, dan chicken wrapnya mantap! This is in my opinion 2nd best restaurant for european food in Jakarta. Harganya OK dan sudah include tax. Suasananya juga nyaman sekali dan servicenya ramah. :) thanks boka buka

Visited here for dinner and honestly, it was below my expectation.Firstly (on a less serious note) I'd like to comment on the name (lol....) because I was quite confused what sort of cuisine it offers -- because the name is Boka Buka!! I thought it was African or Indonesian or something... So when I figured out that it's French, I was so puzzled as to the philosophy of their name. Now moving on to the food....Honestly the only food that I find good here is the escargot. Like so many reviews here, I ordered the escargot because many said it's the best in town. I have to agree though. It's not too salty (like some more of the hipper places (in Senopati area, ahem)) nor too garlic-y. So far, it really is the best escargot I've had in Jakarta!Now moving on... for the mains I ordered Beef Fillet. I came here with a bunch of colleagues, and since there isn't a lot of menu available, a lot of us ended up ordering the same food, with different level of "doneness". I ordered medium well, two of my colleagues ordered well done. Guess what? They all came Medium Rare, if not Rare. We were so disappointed. I tried eating the more medium rare parts but as I cut more, it turns out more rare. However, my colleague who is pregnant couldn't eat steaks that aren't well done, so we had to ask the waiter to grill it again.When it came, it became very hard on the outside, but inside it's still a bit Medium, so she ended up eating only half of the steak.When it came to desserts time, I was quite disappointed that there was no fresh desserts like fruits or sorbets. I didn't end up ordering but my colleagues ordered crepes & waffles (the waiter said it would take ~15-20 mins for the waffles to prepare, so we put quite an expectation to it). When they arrive however, we were disappointed. It was just a regular crepes (in fact, it was rather bland), and the waffle was a bit hard (not spongy nor crispy, and also bland). The garnish was also regular by-the-shelf ice cream.Ambience was so-so, it's like a house that turned into a restaurant, so the layout was a bit stuffy, no high ceiling or spacious dining room.The price is still somehow alright, but for this quality, definitely not worth it. Will I come again? Definitely no.VERDICT:Food: 2.5/5Ambience: 3/5Service: 3.5/5Value for money: 2.5/5

kesini berdua sama temen, kirain restonya bakal rame ternyata sepiiiii banget. pengunjungnya cuma kita berdua 😂 sempet takut juga, jgn2 ga enak nih. tapi udah jauh2 ya kesini masa pulang. interiornya lucu, homey tapi romantis gitu. mungkin lebih bagus siang yaa, lain kali mau nyoba kesini siang2.pesen lah nih escargotnya yg terkenal banget. pesen yg isi 6 karena baru pertama kali nyoba, takutnya ga cocok di lidah gue yakan. ternyata....ENAK BANGET ASELI!!!! ga nyesel deh. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
