Curiousity to try their famous Gyu Tan Don was what brought me to this restaurant.Quite funny how a seafood restaurant got famous of their non-seafood instead, huh? They also have Red Fried Rice on their menu, a bit random I think.We ordered their Gyu Tan Don with egg and Soft Shell Crab. Took us a while because they dont have the price on their menu so we're busy asking the waitress. In the end, they ended up giving us their price list for us to look at lol. Price is a bit expensive, a bowl of Gyu Tan with egg was 79k and Soft Shell Crab was 89k (if I remember correctly)When they came, Gyu Tan portion was big enough with a lot of meat, but Soft Shell Crab was quite a dissapointment. So little portion for the price point!Taste wise, Gyu Tan Don was great. They went for the savoury flavor and nailed it with a hint of spicy flavor from cayenne pepper, I ordered a 'mild' version and thought it'd probably better if I ordered non-spicy at all so then I can taste the meat even better. The egg was also very fluffy and Soft which I like. They gave us chilli pepper and sesame-oil for extra taste (which I love! Then again I think everything will be good with a hint of sesame oil)After the dissapointment over Soft Shell Crab's portion, its taste was also not spectacular either. You can still feel the oil when you bite it, and the 3-kind sauce was not that tasty as well.Probably would order their Gyu Tan Don with website from time to time when I crave a good portion of Gyu Tan, however not really interested to try another menu.

Agak bingung sm orang2 yg bilang gyutan don di cranky crab enak bgt.. Krn sejujurnya menurut gw pribadi biasa aja. Tekstur lidahnya oke, porsi oke, dgn tambahan scrambled eggnya yg lembut jg oke. Tapiii sayang bgt bumbu dr gyutannya sendiri kurang kerasa.. Gatau emg pas hari itu lg ke dapetan yg kurang enak atau gmn cm menurut gw sih gak se enak yg orang2 bilang. Atau mgkn bs jd krn cobanya yg di cabang melawai which is masih baru jd gak seenak di gading.. Gatau jg ya.. But one thing for sure selera org emg beda2 jd gak bs disama ratakan semuanya :)

Sebenernya menu ini adalah special menu (specialtynya kepiting).Tapi banyak yg bilang gyutan ini yg paling mendekati rasa men-ya melbourne.IMHO, seasoningnya kurang pas krn kurang manis (dasar lidah org jogja).Akhirnya ditambah kecap lagi.Versi cranky crab ini lebih ke savory/gurih & ditambah telor orak arik yg medium well (perfectly scrambled!)The scrambled egg was good, but unfortunately it kind of overpowering the taste of the gyutan.Thus the portion was well filling my tummy#baladagyutan #searchingtheperfectgyutan

Gyu tan don nya lumayan tasty, ngga pelit kasih porsi nya.. Soft shell crabnya rada tasteless, sauce dip nya byasa aja.. Blom coba kepitingnya sih justru..

Sesuai namanya resto ini spesialisasi kepiting but surprisingly ada menu gyutan-don alias nasi lidah yg JUARA! A-must-try! Enak banget! Dan waktu itu order prawnnya jg ngga kalah enak bumbunya. Waitressnya jg semua ramah dan sopan, kebetulan waktu itu dpt table yg di private room. Pokonya juara!

awalnya dateng untuk coba gyutan don, mantap, service nya enak, dan juga lezat gyutan don nya... worth to try! harganya juga masih pas untuk kantong

The place is quite easy to find, since it's right across PTIK. The place is clean, the staff is ok. The music selection is great, it's exciting. Doesn't suit the place though.. Nothing exciting on the interior. Now let's talk about the food. Of course i ordered the Gyutan Don. Since everyone is talking about it. I have too much expectation, turn out it was ok. The mild one is spicy enought, the meat was cooked right, i like to add more and more sesame oil, i think there's a taste that is lacking. Maybe, just maybe.. Butter rice would be a great option! Speaking of rice, the don is too firm for my liking. Everyone keep on mentioning that the rice is too mushy. But tongue is a tough meat, i think it should be paired with mushier rice.

Nyari-nyari tempat makan crab yang buka jam 3-an tadi, eh pada tutup, kebetulan nemu ini dan akhirnya nyoba, walau pas banget crab nya lagi kosong sih 😂. Asik banget tempatnya, gak gitu mahal juga untuk ukuran resto crab.

Im having gyutandon here - as I am writing this. Had it in mild, too spicy for a mild in my opinion (mereka pakai cabe rawit and i dont eat those). In terms of rasa, well gurih asin, lidahnya lembut nggak alot. Tp too dry yah krn nasinya agak keras. The scrambled egg helps though.

Bad bad bad! One of the Worst crab dish I have ever had for years. Untung banget gyutan don nya enak jadi ngga terlalu kecewa. Kepiting nya cuman Ada size medium pas gue datang, it's a big lie, more like size small aprox mentok 400gram gue rasa trus mahal (320rb) mending kalau seger pulang nya gue harus beli insidal di apotik wolter monginsidi, ga worth it sama sekali hoekkk! Seafood bag nya pun beberapa kerang nya masih ketutup dan udang nya dingin, dan sosis nya masih dingin bgt dalam nya (buset sosis aja salah rebus Jooo). Untuk gyutan don nya enak banget, bumbu nya pas, gue pesen level paling pedas dan enak banget, telor dadar nya fluffy banget 😍, menurut gue sih Kayaknya mereka mending stop jualan seafood dan stick with the gyutan don daripada orang jd pada males dtg cuman krn trauma sm seafood nya. Mending Jual yg ngerti aja cara buat nya drpd Maksa Jual seafood yg ada customer malah kecewa!
