The place is not hard to find but it will be if you're from Plaza Senayan.The place is quite interesting and you got the japanese feeling from this place.I ordered sirloin set and it is very delicious! I came with my friends and they love it too!The price is definitely worthes!!

Udah 2 kali kesini, pork katsu set nya enak dan unik, bumbunya giling sendiri. Kali kedua saya pesan semacam semur pork belly, rasanya kurang enak, jadi tetep recommend katsu set saja next time.

Best katsu i've ever eat at jakarta. At first when i see the price it's so pricy but after tasting their katsu my thoughts about the price is gone. Nice place to eat. If you just wanna drinking some beer don't forget to order some shrimp head as a snack.

A restaurant that is focused on serving katsu so we tried the pork tenderloin katsu and pork sirloin katsu nabe set. First they will provide you with an empty bowl and wood crusher for you to crush the sesame seeds for your katsu sauce. It's fun to hand crush the seeds and 2-3 spoons of sesame and 3 spoons of katsu sauce is perfect. A little thick but you can enjoy the taste of fresh crushed sesame seeds.Their pork is indeed good and the batter is perfect. Personally, I like the nabe version because the egg and sauce give you the sweeter taste and still maintaining the pork loin.After meal, we tried the thai tea ice cream cup sold by another brand served in the restaurant. IDR 22K a cup is not bad for this ice cream.The pricing is not that favorable though. IDR 160K for the pork sirloin set and IDR 25K for the green tea is quite pricey imho. But if you want to try the best pork katsu in town, this should be in your list.

Kemaren pesen pork katsu sama chicken katsu nabenya.Buat chicken nabenya enak seperti biasanya, cuma kali ini pork nya terlalu berminyak sehingga banyak yg ga termakan..

Katsusei is now located at Senayan Square, enter through Food Hall in the basement. Initially was somewhat difficult to find but we made it there. The clientelle were mostly Japanese, the decor was authentic somewhat modern Japanese, unlike the previous Katsusei in Grand Indonesia which was really modern and more luxurious.The Pork Tenderloin Katsu has been always good, now and then. The meat was succulent and tender, yet the sauce was good that it can be mixed with sesame seeds however we wanted. The thousand island - mayo sauce was also really good that is being mixed with the shredded cabbage.We would be back for the Pork Tenderloin Katsu, albeit the premium price, it makes up for the generous portion of meat.

Loveee this place so much, the food, the service and the place everything comes in the right place at the right amount of it... The Pork Sirloin Katsu is DIVINE!!! The crispiness of the coating outside combines perfectly with the melt in your mouth fat and juicy meat inside... the salad has a tangy aftertaste that suits the fried meat perfectly...Price do justify the taste and experience...too bad only one branch left here in J Town...do really hope it survives...

My late post. Came here with my Japanese friend whom recommend me this place to try a so-called traditional Japanese food. I tried the tonkatsu (pork sirloin) which is one of the famous traditional one in Japan. The most prominent difference from this restaurant is the sauce in which we must grind the sasami (wijen) before we mix that with its pork sauce. I was also informed that in the restaurant we can always ask more for the salad (sliced cabbage), rice and ocha for free. One other important thing, it offers special price for certain lunch menu. So for first coming, u better try it at lunch. The taste of the katsu is fantastic since, i think, it s my first fried food that was so crispy and not oily at all. I think they really are concern with the quality because i saw most of the cust are Japanese whom very sensitive with the quality of the food.

Bisa dibilang "one of the best katsu restaurant in town!" Saya order shrimp dan loin set.. Semua komponen pas mulai dari tepungnya, dagingnya dan kerenyahan yang tiada duanya. Salah satu restaurant yang bakal saya datangi terus. Pertama kali nyobain restaurant serupa di Singapore yaitu Saboten di changi airport, dan rasanya mirip sekali dengan katsusei ini, so worth to try :))

I order Chicken Katsu here! One menu set will cost you up to IDR 200K, and it is quite expensive for what you get I think. Because of this, I recommend this restaurant only if you are a true fan of Japanese food. Personally, surely will go back, perhaps... Only for consider my visit a one-time luxury treat.
