Food is good but they were short handed so we had to wait for awhile for the food to be served. But overall it’s ok. Love their dim sum and Peking duck.

One of the best Chinese Restaurant in Jakarta!!!! Complete Menu and Delicious Dim Sum. Very comfy and Nice vibe for chinese family fine dining.

Possibly the restaurant with the worst service ever! I came in while the restaurant was quiet, ordered several dimsums, and waited for over 20 minutes. In that 30 minutes, only 1 order (fried taro) came out. We checked with the server about the other orders, and so he went to check. And then he came back, with a grandmother story “I already input your order, but it didn’t come out at the kitchen’s side, so it is not my fault. So do you still want to wait for the order?” How strange? I never faulted him in the first place, I merely asked him to check on our order. So I found it really rude & offensive that he would come say these kind of grandmother stories to me, and even challenge me to wait, very rudely. I wonder what kind of horrible training or perhaps non existent training these goons go through. Needless to say it was the most unpleasant lunch I ever had. Ini restoran dengan servis yang paling parah saya pernah alami se umur hidup. Saya dengan keluarga datang pas restoran masih sepi. Kami pesan dimsum. Dan menunggu kira2 30min. Namun hanya 1 pesanan yang keluar, fried taro. Kami tanya ke server, gimana dengan pesanan yang lain. Server check dan kembali dengan cerita yang sangat mengelikan. Beliau bilang “saya sudah input orderan, tapi tidak keluar di bagian kitchen. Jadi tidak di proses. Ini bukan salah saya. Gimana, masih mau tunggu?” Aneh ya? Padahal dari awal saya tidak menyalahkan dia, tapi sekarang saya di tantang oleh nya, dengan perkataan GIMANA. Dan seakan2 memarahin kami se meja. Hahaha saya seumur2 baru pertama kali dapat servis seperti ini. Mau makan di kaki Lima juga engga seperti ini. Wowwwww maystar kalian punya training, atau mungkin karyawan tidak di training kali ya. Bikin suasana tidak enak, makan siang tidak nikmat dan tidak menyenangkan.

Friendly staff...especially Ifa....Dimsum are great.....Expensive..but worth it.....More discount would be nice.....Oh they have their own elevator to 3rd floor

The Best Chinese Food restaurant in Jakarta, from poultry, tofu, vegetables and dim sum are tasty. Their quality of ingredients are so amazing and prepared by talented chef with a beautiful presentation. So i tried fried udon, it so yummy, chewy and well seasoned with some good amount of seafood. Beef also taste okay, the meat are so juicy, tender and the sauces a bit oily, but its good when eaten with rice. I was kinda forget the name, but it was tofu with mushroom, it also very good, with some minced meat and gravy sauces. Another fantastic menu are pork belly and roasted BBQ Pork, it is so marvelous! i even crave it again when it write this review. You should try, but sorry it's non halal. When spend about 1 million and be a member of May Star, we can get a free of roasted duck meat. I'm such a happy satisfy customer indeed and for sure will come back again for another lunch or dinner, or maybe Dim Sum for brunch.Please kindly follow my Instagram @Mich.Love.Eat

Salah Satu restoran Chinese food yg ok. Paling suka sama bebek panggangnya， crispy. Masakannya yg lain juga enak2 semua. Pelayanannya ramah.

Maystar has the best dimsum I’ve tasted in Jakarta and I go there almost every week. Their selection of steamed dimsum has a clean, fresh taste and is very consistent in each branch of Maystar. Their evening menu is also excellent with the delicious Beijing duck a must-try!
