We used to come here quite often, but somehow stop going there for a while. Last Sunday we went back to Pastis to celebrate my dad's birthday. It was around 1.30 pm and the place is completely empty. The menu was different from the last time we came here (also different with the one posted on website). We asked some questions about the food on the menu and the waitress didn't understand anything. I spoke in Bahasa so language wasn't the issue. She had no knowledge about the food, the only thing she could tell us was mostly everything we tried to order was sold out. By the end, the food option was very limited, and we had to substitute several items such as spinach with mushroom since they ran out of that specific ingredients. Same thing happened when we tried to order drink, they run out of this and that. I ordered Funghi Risotto and hot pure chocolate. The risotto was ok, it was creamy but the rice was a bit undone. The hot chocolate tasted like water with cocoa powder only, not decadent at all. I had to admit the food was ok, but the service was terrible. They have more waiters and waitress than the guests (which were only us), yet it was still hard to get service there because they kept talking to each other and didn't pay any attention to their paying customer. Also, I asked the waitress to bring out the birthday I previously requested to be put in the fridge. She came out with the cake still in the box, with no effort of setting the cake. For a cafe/resto who charges 10% for their service this level of service is unacceptable. My family and I will not come back to Pastis ever again.

Makanannya overprice untuk rasa yang standar. Saya memesan black pasta, terlalu asam dan tidak kaya akan rasa. Ayam gulungnya pun seperti homemade, tidak ada cita rasa baru. Untuk porsi sesuai untuk wanita, tidak untuk pria :P But, it's a nice place to have a date ❤️

Standard taste and pricey, this place is just another hip and fancy dining place in jakarta. The food is tasteless and yes nothing special about this place except their comfortable and romantic ambience.

Yg paling diinget dari pastis tu nasi ijonya yg enak bgt (mnurut gw) tempatnya jg enak luas, ada indoor n outdoor. Trus enaknya disini kl weekend ga antri kaya resto lainnya.. Mgkn krn resto ini udah lama, org byk beralih ke resto yg baru, padahal pastis enak n pewe tempatnya..

So, I got an Sahur compliment. But I reach the reataurant at 4.00 am moreless, there was look empty.. for each part of menu. On Breads Side, I just found 2 or 3 kind of breads. No Egg Corner. And as you guys can see on my photograft, there was an worst sunny up egg presentation I've ever seen., as long as I visit several hotels. It most better my home made's egg. The texture of bread was also failed.!! Very bad.Had no choices of rice as well.Very bad compliment for breakfast/sahur.AMBIENCEAmbience for the resto at afternoon pretty good. Walaupun banyak yang bilang kalo menu Nasi Ijo-nya juara, akhirnya malah nggak pesan itu karena mau coba yang lain. Dory Pan Smeared-nya enak. Buat yang nggak suka asam, jangan pesan menu ini, karena dari aromanya, jeruk dan lemonnya menguar dengan sempurna. Ikannya sendiri well cooked. Buat saya yang mudah merasa eneg karena amis, ikan Dory-nya matang sempurna, dan rasa serehnya juga tidak terlalu kuat, jadi enak.Untuk appetizer, saya dan teman memesan Tuna Salad yang surprisingly segar. Tuna-nya sendiri di grill luarnya, sementara daging dalamnya dingin. Sausnya manis dengan salad yang sedikit pedas. Menggugah.Pizza balsamicnya agak kurang sih. Hanya terasa seperti kebanyakan keju. Tapi tetap tipis dan gurih.Untuk pesanan 1 appetizer, 2 main course, 1 pizza, 2 minuman & 2 desert lava cake, total habis sekitar 500K.

Went here with my colleague for a business lunch. Though it wasn't full house, the service is terribly slow! Was ignored by one of the waitress (can't remember her name) - we called her first but then she served the table next to us who called her later than me! But that's not the point, finally got another friendly waitress! Ordered beef burger - the portion is big, the beef is not as good as i expected, and I believe the fries has been fried like the night before.. Honestly mcd fries tastes better! Ordered iced tea but was given lychee iced tea..The only plus thing is they give discount for CIMB NIAGA card holders - thats all...

Check their daily promotion. You can get steak and wine for only usd 11 on certain day. Their Nasi Goreng Ijo is a must try menu for Asian food.

Kali kedua datang ke tempat ini. Kedatangan pertama untuk acara gathering kantor, jadi acaranya prasmanan begitu. Merasa kurang puas dengan rasa dari makanan yang disajikan. Cenderung biasa, tidak ada sesuatu yang special sama sekali. Pada waktu itu sempat berpikir bahwa mungkin karena prasmanan jadi rasanya mengikuti budget yang diminta Perusahaan.Kedatangan kedua, saya dan beberapa teman mencoba menu ala charté. But unfortunately, rasanya tidak lebih baik. Mohon maaf ya kepada management Pastis Cafe. Tapi menurut saya, dengan harga yang tinggi (terutama steak) kualitas yang diberikan tidak lebih dari makanan resto sekitaran kampus. Bahkan malah ada resto kecil atau warung kecil yang bisa menyajikan rasa yang jauh lebih baik. Mohon dapat diperbaiki kualitasnya.Actually... kali ini bukan hanya my personal taste, tapi juga semua teman saya berpendapat yang sama.Saya pesan Sandwich karena saat itu tidak terlalu lapar. Yah... what do you expect from sandwich? Yah rasanya seperti roti isi sayuran yang dipotong... diberi telur mata sapi... ham... dan ayam rebus. Plain aja begitu.Teman yang pesan Salmon bilang, rasanya biasa saja.Teman yang pesan Grilled chicken bilang... rasanya seperti ayam yang dipanggang saja. Just like that. Tidak ada rasa special makanan mahal.Dan yang paling sadis adalah teman saya yang pesan steak. Sudah menunggu hampir 1 jam, dia mendapatkan steak yang alot, bumbu yang sekedar tempelan. Ibarat daging beku yang dalam kondisi mulai lunak, kemudian di grill begitu saja. Setelah itu disiram BBQ sauce. Really??? Dengan harga 250k lebih baik pergi ke Holycow pesan Big Bites loh. Bisa dapat untuk makan berdua, kenyang nampol dan enak pula. Atau malah lebih baik pergi ke Satoo aja hari Senin. Dengan harga yg sama, kita bisa makan sepuasnya. Hahaha... sorry kalo jadi kasar. Hanya ingin tidak ada lagi yang kecewa kalo makan disini.But... akan selalu ada sesuatu yang bisa dibanggakan dari segala kekurangan. Dessert mereka Choco Melt adalah sajian yang baik. Semua teman saya bilang, dessert nya adalah sajian yang paling memuaskan dalam kunjungan waktu itu.So... jika memang mau kesini. Lebih baik pesan dessert aja ya. Cheers
