We went to the Lotte mall close to where we’re staying with our Indonesian mates.All of us were craving of the Authentic Indonesian food and decided to go to Satay Khas Senayan.The customer service was very nice, friendly and attentive.The restaurant was also clean and cosy :)We ordered:- Satay Ayam Bumbu Blora(Chicken peanut with peanut fondue) for 61000 IDR + service tax and tax ~~ 6.8 AUDSatay ayam is the equivalent of chicken skewers in Indonesian version served in homemade peanut fondue.The chicken skewers were grilled using the burnt charcoal and served in the bowl on top of the burnt charcoal to keep it warm.The chicken was very tender, soft and juicy with the stunning taste of peanut fondue.Definitely have to try the Satay Ayam from this restaurant (signature dish)- Tahu Telur (Beancurd Omelette) for 45000 IDR + service tax and tax ~~ 5.2 AUDThe beancurd and egg were perfectly cooked. Unfortunately, the sauce was slightly too sweet for us.It wasn’t our liking.- Nasi Bakar Jambal (fish) (Grilled rice wrapped in banana leaf served with ayam kremes, tahu goreng, tempe goreng, sayur asam and jambal) for 62000 IDR + service tax and tax ~~ 7 AUDAbsolutely loved the “sayur asam” - sweet and sour Indonesian soup!! The taste was stunning though the portion was slightly too small.It was served with fried chicken, fried tempe and fried beancurd. All of them were perfectly cooked and well seasoned.If you can eat spicy, you should dip with Indonesia sambal!! The taste was absolutely fantastic!You wont be able to find anywhere only in Indonesia.One minor thing, the rice was slightly too dry.- Tahu Kipas (Fried stuffed beancurd with prawn and vegetables) for 50000 IDR + service tax and tax ~~ 5.8 AUDIt was served crispy and crunchy from outside;It’s the highlight of tonight, everything was perfectly executed.It’s such a simple dish, but flawless!Absolutely recommended to order this one.Overall, we had great time dine in this restaurant.Note: it’s reasonable price for a good restaurant like this :)Yay: Tahu kipas, Satay ayam bumbu blora, Nasi bakarNay: Tahu telurTaste: 4.0Service: 4.0Price: 3.0Speed: 3.5

I love the food. Satay (all kinds) are delicious. Tahu telor and gado gado is our favorites. But this particular place (lotte shopping avenue), the staffs are too busy with themselves. They are so many but not attentive.

Sate betawinya enak, porsi banyak dan perkedelnya enak. Satenya juga enak, paling suka sate buntelnya. Nasi kuningnya juga oke. Cuma sate kulitnya mungkin lebih enak kalau lebih digoreng garing 😊

Craving for satay - definitely go here and having mix chicken satay (meat and skin), lamb satay and lontong cap gomeh, the best combination of food.. will be missing this a lot

7/10/18Outlet Sate Khas Senayan di Lotte Shopping Avenue ini adalah outlet favoritku. Kenapa eh kenapa? Karena tempatnya luaaaas bgt, walaupun dari luar terlihat kecil. Paling enak deh kalo bawa keluarga banyak, ambiencenya juga oke bgt outlet yg disini.Pelayanan cukup oke, walaupun agak lama keluar makanannya. Pdhl lagi sepi, sampe nanya 2 3x ke waiternya. Mungkin ada kokinya lg cuti kali yes..Move to the dish, as usual kalo kesini kayaknya selalu ngiler pesen nasi kuning campurnya deh! Porsi nasinya pas, ga terlalu banyak, lauknya banyak dan enak2. Cuma kemaren ayam gorengnya agak gosong ya, walaupun yaa masih enak (emang dasar anak gembrot..).Selain itu juga pesan gurame pesmol (bumbu kuning) buat dimakan rame2. Menurutku sih masih enakan gurame pesmolnya ikan bakar ci*njur ya.. Disini biasa aja, entah kurang bumbunya atau gimana, pdhl lebih kental bumbunya..Lainnya order tahu isi, dan sate2an mereka. Selalu cinta sama saus satenya mereka. Duh gatau deh giman buatnya bisa selembut itu! Lalu penyajiannya diatas tungku kecil gitu, makanya bisa anget terus itu satenya. Mantap surantap lah pokoknya!

This place never fails meFoodCukup sering ke sini dan nyobain berbagai menu-nya. Semuanya enak-enak. Sate-nya jangan ditanya. Rasanya pas, saus kacangnya lembut banget. Yang selalu saya pesan setiap ke sini adalah Nasi Uduk. Isinya nasi uduk + lauk dan sayur yang banyak banget. Harganya memang tergolong pricey untuk makanan lokal, but the taste never dissapoints.AmbienceTempatnya sangat luas, dan cozy. Cocok untuk kumpul-kumpul santai rame-rame bareng keluarga/teman. This Indonesian food restaurant chain is keeping their status as the decent go-to Indonesian restaurant. I said decent because it keeps bringing the good Indonesian flavour cuisine, clean enough to be introduced to foreigners (well, the good Indonesian cuisine usually are the street-food one, sometimes not that clean) but the price is still reasonable. You can try their menu, they covered quite a selection of Indonesian cuisine. Here I showed their Nasi Rames, basically white rice with assorted condiments (fried tofu, egg, spiced beef, tempeh, chilli prawn and potato, and savoury shaved coconut). Siang ni sya dan rekan kerja mau coba sate khas senayan lotte yang katanya makananya enak2 dan tempatnya asik, dan ga salah setelah saya coba memang rekomended bgt,next time mau ajak keluarga untuk makan di sini....

Cabang Sate Khas Senayan terbaik. Pelayanannya memuaskan. Masakan datangnya cepet walaupun resto lagi rame. Untuk makanan sih, semua cabang kualitasnya bagus. Makanan favorit di sini adalah sate ayam campur bumbu blora dan sate sapi.

Love their sate ayam and tahu telor!Best combination to have at Sate Khas Senayan. We had a lunch meeting here earlier, there were 3 of us and we got a promo from one of the credit card, buy 2 set of sate ayam get 1/2 set free. Really recommend you Sate Khas Senayan!
