It is located inside the QNB Bank building on top floor. It has really huge space of restaurant though, we are not going to have various chinese cuisines here, but we are going to have a Shanghai style shabu shabu which is not common in town.Special is they have 20 kind of sauces, i even couldn't remember it all. As expected we may having various taste from sweet, sour, salty, or spicy sauce which our preference. As Chinese theme, soup doesn't really tasty as usual soup we found in town since originally in Shanghai people don't really like using much of seasoning on their soup which is they prefer it warm and plain. That is the reason why we could have many kind of sauces to get more taste. So don't surprise if you find the soup is not tasty enough than common shabu shabu restaurant. The best dish i must recommend is the beef slices, they really do it well done. Thin slices of beef with tender texture, fresh absolutely my favorite. Also the noodles is really good, chewy and soft texture also it has nice taste. Each meatballs of course have different taste, as you can imagine how beef, fish and shrimp absolutely have difference. Overall, foods are good, sauces are fascinating and what they served absolutely great. Even though it is not all you can eat restaurant, but if you're looking for taste and quality of ingredient, Dolar Shop Resto is absolutely recommended. They are make sure all are using fresh and premium ingredients with consistency of procedure and serving.

Most expensive steamboat I ever ate. You can eat at shaburi + hanamasa + enmaru and it will never cost that much.Tons of Chinese people around, and they smoke everywhere and anywhere in the restaurants.Medicore services by the staff 😃

Been here bcs of my uncle' recommendation.Place was quite empty ( I came at 08.30-10.30 PM ) but they said it's very crowded at midnite.Fyi they're open till 04.00 AM.I tried their spicy soup as base and there's no other flavors beside SPICY.My brother ordered curry soup and it's much better, even the best from all of their soup.Price isn't reasonable. It cost 1.5 mio for 7 adults. I much prefer Shaburi than this 💔

Pengalmaan ane ke sini kemaren joss banget, shabu enak rasanya, dagingny jg empuk2 kok, dan rasany gurih ga pake banyak micin, juara kalo soal ketepatan rasa, dari sisi harga jg overall worth dengan apa yg didapat, tea ny jg enak aromanya khas gitu, ambience biasa aja, overall worth to try buat yg ngidam shabu2 bareng keluarga

The ambience is nice. Free snack. Nice service. The food are good. Love the soup. Quite pricey, and not so special that make this place felt any different with other similar restaurant

Spertinya ada campuran bumbu kacang yg bikin rasanya enak 😍But a lil bit pricey saya makan ber3 total 900rb sedangkan di shabu2 lain biasanya cuma 500rban

Chinese style single pot hot pot. Ausy beef is too much fats. Another kind of beef which is thicker is hard. Beef tounge a little fishy. The rest is okay. Price wise is about 250k per person after discount. Sauce is self service. Service is good.

Personally I'd give them a 4.0 because yes I do agree with some other reviewers that their price tag is quite steep (even compared to some famous ones in 中国 itself). But I'm actually giving them a 5.0 just too boost up their average rating because some of the bad reviews I've seen were not made based on a fair comparison nor an understanding of the Chinese hot pot dining culture itself. For those who may not be familiar with the Chinese hot pot, it is VERY DIFFERENT than the products & experience you can get in the Japanese shabu-shabu restaurant in Jakarta area! Please please please stop comparing the Dolar Shop (or any other chinese hot pot restaurant) with all those all you can eat-Shabu restaurants which are mostly Japanese style and serves low quality grade fresh produce & processed meat for the lower price tag mentioned. You can tell from their meatball items, DS serves what regular hot pot restaurants in China would serve when it comes to 肉丸 (meatball) which is freshly made and not one of those frozen processed meat-products.Also when it comes to Mala base soup, I honestly think the whole concept of "numbing sensation-kind of spicy" is weird but understandable why it could be an enjoyment! It is SOLELY meant for the cooking and NOT to be enjoyed by drinking the soup (in Chinese language culture they would say 喝汤 = drink soup) but Mala is definitely not to be enjoyed the way you can enjoy Japanese shabu-shabu soup base! To enjoy the Mala sensation, all you need to do is: cook in the Mala soup and tap dry the cooked item before dipping it to your sauces. The spicy oil itself will add a distinctive flavor into your original mixture of sauce. I've had better Mala based soups in China & Singapore, but not saying that DS did a poor job on it.We had the beef, meatball platter, prawn meatball (with a coarser texture), lotus root, white cabbage, radish, tofu, chives pancake and oolong tea to share. All items met the expectations. Spent 854K for two person but we were being too excited about Chinese hotpot and ordered a lot more than what we should. Overall the product & services are above average for sure. So yes the price is worth it.One of the previous reviewers mentioned that the service was mediocre but on my visit it was the contrary. I had a great experience, servers were attentive, customer oriented, and polite. One was even outstanding! Very informative and I can feel her presence as being nice but not pretentious. At the end of the dining experience, I saw that she had already gotten in front of those doors with the button pressed even before my friend & I got to the doors! These hardworking people deserves a 5.0 rating-type of appreciation. Peace out foodies, I'll catch you on my other reviews!
