I came here with several friends of mine..overall, the foods that we ordered taste nice, even though the pineapple fried rice shouldn't be that moist? However, the taste of Tom Yum Seafood, Pandan Chicken(I forgot the Thai name for this food), and Pad Thai reflect the real Thai Food... (y)Apart from the downside that we firstly received by having our orders being ignored, we appreciate the service that we received after re-ordering our orders. We were offered free Tom Yum Seafood(as it was one of our orders), albeit our total payable amount didn't reach the minimum (there was a promotion to get IDR1 Tom Yum Seafood if the total payable reached certain amount..if I'm not mistaken, it was IDR250K..lucky us, we came on the last date of promotion..hurray... :) )So, Silky Thai is recommended to those who like Thai Food..please come and enjoy the food... :)Good Luck, Silky Thai...Regards,Bunawan

Salah satu Thai resto yang ada di PIK. Udah kedua kli makan di sini, tepatnya pas malam takbiran dimana banyak resto yg uda tutup tapi, silky thai salah satu resto yg masih buka sampe malem. Uda kelaperan banget jadi pesen lumayan banyak. Cuma dari semua orderan slalu ada bahan rebung. Hmmm, agak aneh sih menurut kami. Dari tom yam, green curry, minced chicken smua nya ada rebungnya. Untuk rasa masih pas di lidah dan enak.

Aku kesini cuma karna lagi ngidam mang9 sticky rice.. tapi.... ternyata pas coba, santan nya kurang banyak nih, jadi rasanya kurang perfect 😂

visited this restaurant with family last week, have to say this place is definitely a hidden gem!wasn't sure when i walked in but once i tried the foods,everything changed.we ordered Pad Thai, it has the exact sourness of an authentic thai taste where i'm not able to find in other thai restaurants in PIK area. We also liked the Pandan chicken. other than that we ordered pad kee mow duck (the duck meat was tender), fresh steamed fish with sweet and sour sauce,som tam (it was average). will sure come back to try other menu!

Karena bingung dan emang suka nyobain makanan akhirnya kita memutuskan utk nyobain resto ini.Di dalamnya sih cuman ada sekumpulan cewe cowo yg rame banget ketawa ketiwi, bikin kita yg makan aga ga nyaman karena gaduh banget.Nama menunya khas thailand dan ga banyak gambarnya jd aga bingung mau pesen apa.Akhirnya kita mesen steam ikan kerapu, sayur dan juga chicken wings goreng.Utk ikannya aga lumayan lah rasanya manis asem pedes gt khas thailanda.Utk sayurnya absolutely not recommended, masaknya kelamaan dan manis gt.Utk ayamnya jg ga suka dalamnya daging ayam di cincang dan dibentuk kyk chicken wings gt, tawar ga special.Minumnya thai ice tea, aga pahit.Lemon tea nya kebanyakan air jd ga berasa lemon nya. Pelayanannya lama, mgkn karena ikan steam jd takes time sekitar 20 menitan utk keluar semua menu bersamaan.

Right after i fuzzing around PIK area, i finally made my decision to set my course into this restaurant. Actually there's few Thai restaurant in that area, but i refuse to eat at plagiarist restaurant. I didn't have to mention it, but for those who ever visit or live in Melbourne, Australia will know it. Okay lets move on to the review of this restaurant. It all started by the friendly waiter offering me the menu outside the restaurant which reminds me with Siam Gypsy night market. Then i ordered the Prawn Cake, and a Pineapple Fried Rice and  It takes about  10 - 15 minutes for them to deliver my order. Wandering how it's tastes? Okay the Prawn cake feels stuffy filled with fat juicy prawns and the sweet and spicy Thai style chilly sauce. Hmmmm this is delicious! Move on to the pineapple, it's quite a great poser, instead of using regular plate, they use half pineapple cut as its plate. The taste? Okay i can feel the Thai herbs and spice on it. Its quite authentic and quite satisfying my tongue. BUT nothing is perfect, its just a little note from me. The Thai ice tea feels to creamy and makes my tummy bloat a bit. Please reduce the milk level will you? :)Waitt,, there's a room for dessert as always mate! I ordered the Tub Tim Grob or "Merah Delima". I like the presentation as well, sparkling red like an actual Ruby. and OMG the use ACTUAL CHESTNUT instead of using "Bengkoang". This is the most astonishing menu on this restaurant, you should order it! Thanks.

i'm actually quite surprised that this restaurant receives such a low rating. I love their basil chicken, it is savory yet crunchy. I came back a few times to this restaurant already

Great ambience, friendly staff, great food! We tried their chicken wrapped w/ pandan leaves, fish cakes, the curry, tom yum soup, pinapple fried rice. Instead of white rice, you can choose what's called Fragrance rice. Super in love with the dessert, Mango Sticky Rice. For drinks you guys should try the Thai Ice Green Tea. Surely gonna bring my family and order that on my next visit!!

Semalam gw berdua sama temen kantor mampir ke silky thai, kita penasaran dgn seberapa authentic masakannya. Pesan 2 menu, tom yum seafood dan larb kai. Untuk tom yum nya enak rasa kuahnya cuma sayang kerangnya berasa amis, porsinya pas untuk berdua (porsi large ya). Untuk larb kai nya kurang enak kyk makan asinan, harusnya larb kai itu lebih ke arah kering pedas dan asam. Trakhir pesen ketan mangga, yg ini rasanya not bad. Overall mungkin lebih baik k resto thai yg lain.
