    Been wanting to try Unagi at this restaurant.. Ordered the Hitsumabushi one layer unagi .. it was cooked with selected charcoal.. i added the unagi sauce (and it tasted much better with it)For him, he ordered the beef don (with half cooked egg on top of the rice and beef) The portion for unagi was decent, together with the other condiments, worth the price (198k)There are 4ways of eating it, but i ate it as it is.. the yakitori (skewers) are okay... my picky hubby thinks its so so so so ordinary.. the chicken karaage (but the menu says namban chicken) was okay only...There are few tables with Japanese customers, so i guess this place suits their tastebuds.. and the interior is authentic enough.. Well, the price is quite steep for the food i’ve tried.. So it was a “once is enough” experience.

    Pecinta unagi boleh nih mampir ke sini kalo mau nyobain unagi yang premium, awalnya kira yah mungkin biasa aja, tapi karena mahal jadi ekspektasinya lebih, ternyata rasanya memang sesuai tagihan billnya nanti.Taste: 9/10Service: 9/10Ambiance: 9/10Price: 8/10

    Wah salah satu Unagi ter-enak yg pernah gue makan! Buat Unagi lovers wajib dateng kesini dg kondisi perut kosong pastinya karna porsinya cukup besar! Kalau mau paket lengkap bisa order Hitsumabushi, atau order Una Tama Jyu (Unagi + Telor). Tempatnya juga enak sih, servicenya ok. Cuma 1 kekurangannya, harganya mahal 😂😂

    order the famous Unagi Hitsumabushi (189.000) with 1 layer of unary (For your information they have 1, 1.5, and 2 layer options). While waitingg for my Unagi they served a small appetizer with Salmon meat inside.They served the Unagi on top of rice and they recommend some ways to enjoy the Unagi. We can put seasonings (Spring onions, Seaweed, and wasabi), We can also put the broth to the rice or you can just eat as it is. So I chose the last oneThe Unagi was perfectly grilled with charcoal and dipped into their secret sauce that makes the unary has a really rich flavour. After we finished the meal, they gave us jelly as a dessert.

    Wanna eat premium unagi? Try this one! Their unagi is fresh & so juicy. They also provide lunch set, which really worth it. I ordered mini unagi bowl set, as shown by the pic. Basically it is 1/2 layer unagi on top of rice, salad, pickle wasabi green onion, and miso. Niceeee..

    This is only opinion from a non regular unagi eater. I never feel craze about unagi before, but I ordered what unacho specialist in, a single layer hitsumabushi. And after finishing it, I can still say my interest in unagi is the same, not my first choice for Japanese dishes. If you ask me if the unagi soft, yes it is. Moist? I guess. Chewy? Not at all. The broth? Nothing special for my taste, but it was okay. I feel like I eat a regular grilled fish actually, with sweet sauce. Is there any difference with other place? Well, if you are not a fan of unagi, you can't really tell the difference. Unless you compare it with a really bad eel that hard to chew due to poor cooking. But I found a group of Japanese eat here too, so I guess the taste quite original?? Would I come back again? Maybe. But 200k something to eat thing that is not your favorite (not that I hate it), probably doesn't make much difference when you eat let's say 50k unagi in other sushi place.

    Lunch hari ini nyobain Unacho di Plaza Senayan.Lokasinya di Lat. 2, ada di pojokan dengan interior khas Jepang.Orderan kita :1. Salmon Sashimi Don SetMirip chirashizushi sih tampilannya, tapi rasanya beda. Bisa dibilang ini meccha oishikatta!2. Una Don SetGak afdhol kalo ke Unacho tapi malah gak nyobain menu unaginya :DUnagi di Unacho bener-bener juicy dengan topping telur kocok (?) dan ½ telur rebus.Disini kalau pesan set, nambah +20K dengan menu salad/chawan mushi, 2 macam lauk (idk its name), miso shiru, dessert. Dessert yang kita dapat hari ini sepotong jelly dengan isi buah.Oh ya disini juga ochanya refill, jadi puas mau nambah minum.Next, mau coba menu unagi yang lain lagi! :)

    UNAGI HITSUMABUSHI (one single layer -198K). Basically, it is a charcoal grilled eel in nagoya style so there’s selected charcoal and dipped of a secret sauce and there’s a broth as well. Just diggin with three different ways and finish it with the combination flavors you like. I’m a broth type of person when it comes to nagoya unagi, their broth is loveable! (8/10)TORI HITSUMABUSHI (138K) - nagoya style chargrilled chicken with house special sauce. As I like their unagi hitsumabushi, I love this one better. All the condiments and broth is same, but the chicken itself is more flavorful than unagi. There’s appropriate salt in that chicken, with a hint of bitter and sweet in the end. Just right in place! (9/10)SALMON YUKE ABURI DON (98K) - fresh thinly sliced salmon aburi with special yuke dressing topped with egg yolk. Just mix all the elements together - find the crazy umami flavour and sensation in one mouthful spoon. Spicy, salty, sweet and sour in one don bowl - so delicious! (10/10)SALMON WAFU CARPACCIO (88K) - freshly thinly slice salmon sashimi served with homemade wafuu sauce. Very well-balanced between fresh, sweet and acidity. Love how the wafuu absorb the thinly salmon sashimi and it’s a delicious starter! (9/10)GYU NO SUMIYAKI DON (98K) - Hands up if you’re a medium rare beef fan. Great one! GYUTAN YAKINIKU DON (98K) - Grilled beef tongue over rice served with half boiled egg, garlic chips, nori and special sauce. And hands up if you like the grilled and cooked one. Both taste great! (8/10)UNAGI CHIRASHI SUSHI (145K) Served with traditional japanese condiments. I’m quite fascinate to try that cold rice - unagi as it’s namely ‘chirashi’. A unique flavour but still love the hot one. Nice try! (7/10)UNAGI SUSHI ROLL (198K) topped with freshly grilled kabayaki style. My favorite among the other unagi dishes. Maybe because I’m a sweet tooth so I prefer unagi with the sweet soy sauce style. Love the fresh and thick - grilled unagi with balance seasoning rice. (9/10)SALMON NO MISO BUTTER YAKI (118K) - grilled salmon with miso butter sauce. I think that miso butter is only perfect when it match to gindara. As I pair it with salmon, the flavor combination is separate and kill each individual flavour itself. (6/10)TORI CHEESE TERIYAKI (78K) - house special marinated chicken topped with cheese and special sauce. A little bit unique when that cheese combines with the grilled chicken but somehow it works and taste delicious (8/10)The creme brulee and coffee jelly quite delicious despite that simple standard looking dish, but that yaki imo is unbeatable and soooo goood! YAKI IMO MITATE (38K) - sweet potato. I’m totally a sweet potato lover in terms of fries (savoury) or glaze caramelised (sweet one). But, I found a little bit different in here. It’s like hot sweet potato covered with ‘whatsoever’ chocolate - and it tastes fantastically delicious & comfy as well! Never missed to order this one when I come here (10/10)

    For me, it was just pretty average. A simple unagi dish with rice, a typical Japanese dish that is normally served. What could go wrong with that? They have this way of eating it with soup that you tend to mix it. It was an experience that one should try just once to taste but never again. It is pretty expensive for something so simple. Not worth coming back in my opinion.

    A so-so rating for Unagi but quite okay for the Beef instead. Ordered two mains: Unagi Hitsumabushi (198k++) for a single layer and Gyu No Sumiyaki Don (98k++) and extra set menu for 20k++.It's just - okay. One thing that impressed me: rice. For me nasinya malah enak haha! Dipakain bumbu yg membuat rasa don nya jadi enak.
