Saya ke Metro's bareng sama teman saya dan keluarganya, kebetulan cari resto yg buka sampe malem tapi masih di sekitaran BSD. Tempat nya cozy, di lt. 1 ada hiasan akuarium yg unik banget. Tapi berhubung kita dateng segerombolan, si waitress mengusulkan untuk pilih di lt. 2 yg lebih sepi. Di lt. 2 disediakan area pool billiard, dart game, bar, dan tv lcd untuk lagu-lagu backsound. My Menu : Choco Lava Cake - 8/10Seperti choco lava cake di tempat-tempat lain, rasanya manis, rasa chocolate nya strong, dan yg terpenting, harus melted waktu dibelah. Menu ini dilengkapi dengan ice cream vanilla, sprinkled almond, dan saus strawberry.Hot Wings - 9/10Hot wings yg enak banget dan benar-benar murah. Gak tau sih apakah itu harga asli atau hanya promo of the month, yg pasti enak banget, pedes banget, dan bikin belepetan.My Tips : Untuk harga drinks dan beer nya memang 1 1/2 kali lebih mahal dibanding harga pasaran, tapi untuk menu-menu makanannya masih standar. Lebih cozy di lt 1, karena interior nya juga lebih terawat.

I didn't even know this place existed, and only went here because of a friend chose this place for a get together. We came at odd hours and we were the only customers throughout the time. Since we wanted to just have a casual chat, we asked the music to be turned down. After the third attempt was unsuccessful, we actually had to point out that we're the only customers, we don't want the music, you can switch it off; if there are other customers let's revisit the music arrangement. Acoustics were bad, music selection was not great, no music was definitely a better choice. The street level decor was almost non-existant. When there's daylight the place is not much more than a ruko with air conditioning. Upstairs with the bar and the pool table definitely had more personality, but I wouldn't exactly call it great either. Dear restaurant owner or manager, do you realize that the flat ambient lighting really is not exciting for your food? The same food under better lighting would have been more appetizing. Your food appearance is not bad, some are actually good; the lighting made them all look flat.  When it comes to the food, I had to think a little more before passing judgement - using the phrase "passing judgement" just gave me an legal and spiritual feel for a while. Why the thinking? It's because I think typical German food are rather unexciting and would not reach the full spectrum of the score range. So should I measure this outlet against the German food spectrum only, or should I keep the standard as absolute? I decided to keep an absolute measurement scale. So I would say the maximum score for the food would have only been a 4 to begin with. The place seems to pride itself in its fusion menu. In the end, everyone in the group ignored the non German stuff like spring rolls.We were quite a big group and we ordered a lot of things. Nevertheless, I will just focus on two dishes - the pork knuckle and the super sausage. The pork knuckle was smaller than the other pork knuckles I've had. It's only slightly crispy on the outside and had that tough hard to chew pork fat layer beneath it. Texture wise the pork knuckle was a failure. Flavor was ok, because pork fat lends the meat a lot of flavor. The super sausage was impressive to see. It gave the group a bit of delight looking at a sausage that size - cue the typical sausage jokes. I enjoyed the smooth texture of the sausage and the flavor was rather mild so it was a good match. None of the criss crossing condiments made a difference. When I ate it the sausage plain, I think it was more enjoyable. The place definitely has potential, but it's not promising at all. I'm not sure it can be great.

Bad impression, bad services like I won't tolerate "sorry the staff had mostly gone home because no customers".They aren't prepared with big parties and it's like we're the one who have to help the staffs with the tables and chairs.I get with the German that chills around but this isn't the service we had expected when they say 'chill'. And please, if I am the manager and the owner, I will look for other staff that is willing to serve us with kindness and smile.We ordered a lot of menus but I and my sister tried the German Meat Loaf and The Tasty Schnitzel. Surprisingly, the foods tasted good!The Gulasch tasted good, the beef is tender and it absorbs until the inside.The meat loaf is just wow, crispy on the outer and it is so juicy on the inside.The Schnitzel is just right and the crisp is just perfect, though the pork meat could be better but overall, okay!The Pork Knuckle came last and it's definitely not a dissapointment!The mash potato is too, a little too soft while the baked potato is delicious!Despite the services, I like this place!

Salah satu teman kampus saya berniat untuk mengumpulkan teman-teman kampus lainnya yang sudah lama tidak ketemu. Syukurlah ada yang masih niat. Nah dia bagian ngumpulin orang, saya dan salah satu teman saya yang suka wisata kuliner jadi bagian yang nentuin tempat makan yang cucok untuk melepas rasa rindu. Setelah sekian lama meriset, jadinya ke Metro's deh.Metro's merupakan salah satu restoran di daerah Tangerang yang menjual makanan Jerman. Biasanya kalo makanan Jerman itu identik dengan yang namanya babi, dan eh ternyata benar. Sebagian besar menunya mengandung babi. Wahai penggemar babi, datanglah !! Suasananya lumayan nyaman, dekorasinya simple. Tempatnya rada kecil sih soalnya dia pakai ruko yang sudah lumayan lama berdiri. Di lantai dua ada darts, billiard (FREE LOH), bar, dan panggung live music. Dari sekian banyak menu babi yang ditawarkan, saya mesen Pork Tenderloin. Gambarnya sih menarik banget, tenderloin babi yang di-wrap sama bacon kemudian dipanggang. Double kill !! Tapi pas makanannya sudah disajikan, ternyata beda banget sama di gambar. Baconnya tidak segaring di gambar, tenderloinnya juga tidak terlalu besar. Kentangnya bisa milih dari french fries, mashed potato, bratkartoffeln (semacam roasted potato), atau potato gratin. Saya milih yang gratin dan ternyata rasanya enak juga, ada asin-asin dari keju dan kentangnya empuk. Tenderloin sedikit kekeringan, bacon sedikit kelembekan tapi kalo rasa, tidak diragukan lagi, ENAK !!! Everything goes well with bacon. Selain rasa asin gurih dari bacon, dia juga ada cream German apple sauce yang lagi-lagi meningkatkan cita rasa dari hidangan. Nikmat tak tertahankan !Teman saya juga ada yang mesen supnya dan pork knuckle. Saya sempat nyobain sedikit dari masing-masing hidangan dan semuanya enak, apalagi yang pork knuckle. IT IS A MUST TO ORDER THIS MENU !! Ukuran knuckle nya besar sehingga dagingnya juga banyak, teksturnya empuk pula. Saus yang diberikan lezat banget. Kayaknya mesti ke sini lagi deh buat nyobain menu lainnya.

Pork Knuclesnya enak banget.. Dagingnya juicy banget.. Ade gue aja bilang ini lebih enak dari Paulaner.. Dan harganya juga lebih murah dari Paulaner.. Buat pork lovers boleh cobain nih Metro's German Rest..

Recommended banget bt pecinta pork d daerah Serpong. Waktu ke sini nyobain Pork Tenderloin and Meatlover Pizza.Pork nya sedikit dry, potato gratin and sauce na enak!! Buat pizza na sih manteps abis!! Daging and kejunya berlimpah terus wangi dr herb na manteps. Terus crispy thin pizza na 👍👍👍!! Overall enak, banyak pilihan menu sampe bingung mau yg mana. Bakal balik lagi mau nyobain menu pork lainnya.

First time nyobain nih resto.. lokasinya di dlm ruko, pas pertama masuk restonya agak kecil, ada 2 lantai.. suasananya emang german bgt..Menunya banyak bgt.. sempet bingung mau pilih yg mana.. Akhirnya kami order meatlover pizza dan pork tenderloin..Setelah beberapa menit akhirnya pork tendernya datang.. porknya agak dry tp rasa bacon yg membungkus porknya mantap.. ada aroma smoked waktu dimakan.. saucenya juga cukup balance..Ga lama kemudian pizzanya datang..Pertama coba langsung jatuh hati sama pizzanya.. pizza baseny thin crust gitu.. kejunya berlimpahhh ditambah taburan daging yg super banyakkk.. very recommended buat para pecinta daging..Overall makan di sini cukup puas meskipun agak sedikit kecewa karena gagal mencicipi dessert...Next time mau coba pork knucklenya😆😆😆

After some posts on Facebook about this place, my friends and I decided to try this place.It's on the main street of BSD, same area with McD in front of bsd plaza. We were greeted with the owner (a German guy, I guess), but the waiter/waitress' service wasn't really good. They are not really attentive and I can see they sometimes making faces.We order the tenderloin, and the medallion. We were very tempted because both of them have bacon outside the meat. The tenderloin came with a very small portion, we didn't really expect that. The taste was okay, but the sauce was very good. The medallion tasted similar with the tenderloin.We also had the pork crackling bites. It's actually a deep fried pork belly. It's kinda disappointing because it's not crispy enough.The place is quite comfy, but the food was so-so. There are some better German restaurant if I wanted to eat their country's food.

Yesterday i got chance to go lunch quite far from my office and friday is PORK day sooo i decided to go to Metro's and my two officemate agreed with me.Place was homey,so Germany. We went upstrair and found bilyard desk&dart. So we played some games while waiting.We ordered pork knuckle,pork tenderloin and crackling pork. The first that came is crackling pork. It was crispy pork belly hmm nyam nyam, apple sauce was awesome. Then we had pork knuckle and pork tenderloin. Pork knuckle was too crispy for me, but size was quite big, enough for 3 persons (2 men with a big size also haha)I love pork tenderloin. Meat covered by bacon so double pork yeayyy!! It was tender. And i can say, all of sauce in Metro's was awesome.For all these dishes and 3 ice tea : 562.650IDR. Is it good? Yeahh i think soOwww unfortunately i didn't drink a beer, they claim that their beer is the coolest beer. Someday i must drink it. That's my promise hahahaa

Visited this restaurant with my mom for dinner. When we first entered the restaurant, nobody greeted us. Nada. We were standing for like 20 seconds, walking around like lost kid inside. I saw one if the server sitting close to the kitchen, way behind the counter, she did nothing. Okay. We figured maybe we should sit ourselves down instead of standing around and looking for someone to greet us. We chose a table, sat down, and a server came toward us with 2 menus. My mom's menu doesn't have the "sold out" stickers on it while mine has a couple of them.Servers were not very friendly. We ordered the classic burger and one of the pasta, i forgot (the one with beef/pork bacon, egg, cheese). Food Presentation wise, promising! Taste wise, amazing! I used to live in USA, so Im used to western food. I immediately know this restaurant serves good food! GOD, the burger meat is so juicy! Such a perfect combination with melted cheese! And my pasta, it comes in a big portion! The creaminess, texture, it's all perfect! At first i couldn't taste the egg, i didn't even see any of it. After a while, i could taste the yolk in the cream. Its soooo yummy!!!! Just wished they make the bacon crispy and put them separately. Overall, service was bad, I cant believe the 21% service charge. That level of service deserve max 10% tips, sorry.Presentation wise, its Western food, thats how its usually look, lol.Taste wise, AMAZING!! Will come back to try other dishes 😍😋
