Parah pelayanannya lambat. Salah 1 waitressnya pun jutekkin customer. Padahal dia baru naik dan masuk ke ruangan langsung jutekkin kita sebagai customer. Salmonnya pun ga fresh.

the foood is so gooood! the salmon is melting inside my mouth. the ambience is nice. so quite. the price is okay for a food like this, its worth it. will come next time!

If you happen to dine at Porto (Gading Serpong), you will find another nice Japanese restaurant called Torigen. The size is the same with Porto so you might miss it coz it's small.From the front, they are using a huge see-through window to let you peek at the inside. The seating on the 1st floor is giving you teppanyaki and omakase looks, so you will see how the chef making your foods (there also the 2nd kitchen on other floors).The menu is mostly a basic Japanese food: teppanyaki, cut steak, sashimi, nigiri, rolls, bento, dan parfait desserts. What interesting is that the price is affordable. I recommend you to order Tori Teri Juu (49K), rice box with a huge portion of meat (grilled chicken, minced meat, and others) which is a tummy satisfier. :D The rolls also have 2 selections: 4 or 8 pcs which is a good deal for an alone eater. It was okay, nothing much special.The downfall is the matcha ogura. I always love to end my meals with excellent dessert, but unfortunately, the matcha ogura was failed to satisfy me. The first choice of the pudding parfait was not available atm. The matcha ice cream was not cold (room-temperature), the mochi was hard, the corn flakes were soggy, ogura was plain. So yeah, too bad it ended not in the most appealing way, but still a worthy place to return.

Bila mencari restoran Jepang dengan suasana malam kota Jepang, Torigen selalu muncul di kepalaku. Makanannya sangat enak. Yang paling aku suka ada okonomiyaki mereka yang besar dan mengenyangkan (sayang ga ada fotonya soalnya sudah dimakan duluan :p). Rasa makanannya enak pake banget. Suasananya sangat cozy, tenang, dengan lagu Jepang yang sedikit funky. Harga makanannya sedikit mahal tapi untuk servicenya sangat cepat tanggap dan cekatan. Selain itu, pelayanannya juga peka terhadap customer. Totally worth it and will come back again~~

I wouldn't go as far to say that it's exceptional, but it's definitely good. The service, the food, the price to quality ratio. Just a few minor glitches. Despite the thickness, I feel like it's not the best sashimi I ever try. Same goes with the okonomiyaki. Because they uses eggs, and that's annoying cus at the price I was expecting some authentic okonomiyaki like the one I had in the Asakusa Temple complex. The steak was really good, asked for a medium rare and it comes medium well, so slightly dissapointed with that. Ocha isn't that hreat as well, Genki still got the best ocha in Indo that I've tried. But I had a pleasant meal, so I'll give it a 4

The best okonomiyaki! Ga enek, pas, pokoknya sukak! Kemarin pesen yang pork okonomiyaki. Kemudian juga pesen shake soboro juu (salmon). Overall enak, kasih salmon nya royal. 😂Lalu pesan salmon crispy roll, ini enak juga wajib dicoba 👍🏼Next time mau coba dorayaki nya 😍

Restoran Jepang yang cukup otentik yang berada di Gading Serpong.Spesialisi di tepanyaki, namun malam itu kita memesan yang kain, yaitu okonomiyaki mix (seafood, pork belly, beef), salmon belly sashimi, dan bento gindara katsu.1 yang kurang menyenangkan adalah, penyajiannya lumayan lama karena chefnya juga terbatas.Okonomiyaki nya patut diacungi jempol. Gak kalah dengan okonomiyaki di negara asalnya.Kualitas sashimi nya juga fresh.Gindara katsu nya OK, digoreng garing lalu ditaburi semacam mayonaise. Dan, agedashi tofu yang include di bento nya enak...

i like their pork okonomiyaki. i also try salmon sushi. they have best taste for okonomiyaki. if i want to eat okonomiyaki, i will some to torigen!
